Roger Newman Award

Each year the CARA President recognizes someone within our bowling community whose efforts have benefited CARA and helped CARA's programs and activities remain successful. Individuals who have received this award have been honored in some cases for their long-term service to the CARA bowling community and in other cases for their high level of performance over a shorter period.

This award is named in recognition of Roger Newman who served for many years as an officer in Pride of Alexandria and then served as an officer in DC Sports and is credited for helping to ensure that both organizations were successful.
